For the past few years we have concentrated on the CAMS Retail Jeweler (CRJ) program. Just as we were the leaders in the niche market of jewelry store software in 1995, when we started writing the CRJ program for the new Windows operating system, we are going to lead again. The Internet has come of age and may now be used for something more useful than that of a research tool and group game play. It is ready for the running of full featured programs over the Internet.

One of the problems with running a small business is the high cost of software and the IT people needed to keep everything going. Computer software is really not a product like screws and bolts, it is a service that is used to answer questions that help solve business issues. To that end we will be delivering a full service of software, hosting, backups and support. We will host the computer application on our servers which users may access over a secure connection. The user, you, will only need to have an internet browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox to run their application. This programming will run equally well on a Windows, Apple or Linux computer. It may also be used anywhere that an Internet connection is available. We will take care of all program updates and data backups while supplying support services and program modifications.

Our first program which will be ready soon will allow for the recording of inventory, maintaining of customer information and the creation of invoices. This program is Open Source software which means that unlike proprietary software the code used to write the program is available for modification and improvement by any programmer. Couple this with the support services that have been the hallmark of our company. This makes an unbeatable combination which will be powerful to use and yet affordable.
